Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Club
The
Ambassador Club is the Chamber's core public relations
force and some of the community's best volunteers. Ambassadors
work to make new members feel welcome in The Chamber. They
visit businesses and participate in all Chamber acitivies,
including the Business Breakfast, Business
After Hours, the Golf Gala, Thanksgiving
Luncheon, and the Business
Expo.
The Ambassador Club serves as the volunteer force for the
Chamber of Commerce throughout the Community.
To promote the Chamber of Commerce to the Decatur and Macon County area, through various meetings and events, and assist with member involvement, recruitment and retention.
Goals and Objectives:
To develop a program of contact with current members, especially recent new members and to enhance retention.
Promote new member participation, networking, and involvement at all Chamber meetings and/or events.
Welcome and assist all Chamber members at meetings and/or events.
Visit new businesses and inform them of the benefits of becoming a Chamber member.
Benefits:Visibility - You and your Company will be visible at all Chamber related functions and eligible for the Awards presented at the Chamber Annual Meeting each May. You will also be promoted through Chamber's website and publications along with other marketing campaigns.
Leadership - Build and advance effective, relevant, and professional programs and networking opportunities for Ambassador Members.
