Annual Dinner and Small Business Awards Banquet
The Chamber Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon traditionally draws a huge crowd. The Outstanding Small Business of the Year is honored; the Civic Leadership Award will be presented to an individual that has exhibited strong leadership qualities in our community; and one exceptional woman will be honored with the ATHENA award, as are dozens of local companies who have made a difference in our community.

Business Expo
The Business Expo offers companies the chance to show their stuff! Some two thousand potential customers and clients check out what exhibitors have to offer every year. The Expo also features the Taste of Decatur, where visitors can sample food selections from over thirty area caterers and restaurants. This event is a partnership between The Chamber and the Decatur Herald & Review.

Golf Gala
The Chamber Golf Gala is always a hit! We hit the links of one of Decatur's finest Golf Courses for a full day of fun. Morning and Afternoon tee times are available.

Community Thanksgiving Luncheon
The Chamber hosts a Community Thanksgiving Luncheon every year. We bring together local service groups, new business leaders, and honor special people in our community along with our Veterans. We also extend a warm welcome to visiting foreign exchange students to our annual Thanksgiving customs . This community tradition began back in 1953, and continues today.

Chamber Christmas Party
One of the most popular and fun events that the Chamber sponsors, the Annual Chamber Christmas Party is not to be missed.  Look for more information as holiday time comes closer.

Washington, Fly In
Find out how Washington really works. This is an experience you'll never forget, hosted by Congressman Ray LaHood.  Join business and community leaders from Macon County, Peoria, Springfield and Jacksonville Chambers for this Annual Event hosted by Congressman Ray LaHood.

In former years, highlights included a tour of the Supreme Courte by Justice Antonin Scalia, visiting the Peruvian Embassy, a Cubs Nationals baseball game, meetings wtih Senator Dick Durbin, Senator Barak Obama, Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert and Washington-based journalist, Clarence Page.
