Decatur Leadership Institute
Thirty of the area's finest professionals find out everything there is to know about Decatur and Macon County. This course is a professional growth experience as well as an education in what Decatur and Macon County have to offer. It is offered every fall. Applications are available in May at the Chamber of Commerce office.
Small Business Breakfast
The first Wednesday of every month, 100 to 125 business people sit down for Eggs and Issues at the Small Business Breakfast. This gathering features a great networking opportunity as well as an informative speaker. Reservations are not necessary.
Business After Hours
Once a month the Chamber of Commerce offers a relaxed social meeting from 5 to 7 pm. The location changes every month for this Business After Hours networking opportunity. Enjoy great food, drinks, and conversation. Bring your business cards, and be sure to stay for door prizes. Reservations are not needed.
Member-to-Member
The Member-to-Member program is designed for Chamber Member businesses to "Think CHAMBER First" when making purchases in the community. Member businesses provide discounts for goods and services from their businesses to Chamber Member businesses only and their employees who display the Think CHAMBER First key tag.
Building Business Excellence
It's what everyone wants...a business built on excellence. But what does it mean and how can you get there? The Chamber provides members the means to Building Business Excellence. BBE is a series of seminars that will give you the insight, knowledge and passion to improve your business.
Business After Hours Priority Pass
The Chamber's new VIP Priority Passes are just the ticket for the business professional. The Priority Pass will admit you (or your co-workers) to 12 Business After Hours events, for the price of 10 admissions, which means you get in free twice!! The VIP Priority Passes ARE transferable, and are good for any 12 Business After Hours events.
Metro Money
Metro Money is a program to encourage people to buy local with Chamber of Commerce members. Companies can buy Metro Money to give to employees as bonuses, incentives, or rewards. The employee can then cash in the certificates at participating stores, restaurants and businesses.
Ambassador Club
The Ambassador Club is made up of some of this community's best volunteers! These are business people who work to make new members feel welcome in the Chamber. They visit businesses and participate in all Chamber activities from Ribbon Cuttings, Golf Gala, to the Chamber's Annual Dinner.
LEADS
LEADS meetings consist of non-competing groups of business people who share tips, leads, and ideas to grow their respective client bases.
