The Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce and the Transportation for Illinois Coalition are co-hosting a community briefing to discuss the importance of funding a safe and efficient transportation system in central Illinois. The event will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008 from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at the Decatur Public Library Auditorium, 130 North Franklin Street, Decatur, Illinois.

WEED & SEED PROGRAM
In order to present Decatur as the jewel it is, efforts are underway to spruce up Decatur and we're asking all Chamber members to help pitch in and clean up the Weed and Seed area, which is bounded by Eldorado to the South, McKinley to the north, Wabash Crossing to the east, and Oakland to the west.  Clean up date is May 3rd (9am to noon).
