Decatur First
sanctuary
Decatur First has two traditional worship services each Sunday in the Sanctuary. The 8:45 service is more casual in style, while the 11:00 is more formal in style. Both have music led by the choir and organist playing familiar hymns, and drawing on inspiration from deep Methodist roots. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of the month.

The Table
Worship at North Decatur UMC follows a fairly traditional pattern in both The Table at 9 and Traditions at 11. At The Table, singing is led by a jazz-styled praise band, dress is more casual, and communion is served every week. This time features engaging experiences for children, such as weekly opportunities to play instruments, decorate the altar banner, and setup for communion. Join us - everyone has a place at the table!

Traditions
At the 11:00 traditional worship service, we sing hymns, we pray for our community and the world, we read scripture together, and on a good day, we hear a pretty good sermon. Singing is led by our organist and chancel choir, style is a little bit more formal, and communion is served monthly. There is a children's moment during this service, with an opportunity for children to attend KidZone for creative biblical play.
